Refund Policy


Our refund policy lasts 30 days from the dispatch of your RTI application. If 30 days have gone by since your application was dispatched by us, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

You are eligible for a refund incase your application doesn’t reach the PIO within 30 days from the day of the dispatch of your application by our staff. If the application is successfully delivered to the PIO as indicated in the tracking details provided by India Post, then no refund shall be offered. This is because once the application reaches the PIO it is the duty of the PIO to provide you with a reply and not us.
RTILikho is only responsible for drafting the application in a proper format and then ensuring that the application reaches the PIO. Beyond that RTILikho has no responsibility and liability. Incase you are seeking redressal for a situation where the PIO has failed to provide you with a reply within 30 days you should consider filing a First Appeal.

To complete your refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. This is the email sent to you by RazorPay that is sent when you successfully make a payment on our website.
Once your request for refund is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
